We know this because we live it.

In our home, my children and I all have 4C hair — but not the same kind. Some of us have fine strands. Others have dense, thick coils. Products that worked beautifully for one head of hair failed completely on another.

That’s when it became clear:

4C hair isn’t one experience — and detangling is where those differences matter most.

Formulas made for dense strands were too heavy for fine hair.

Products light enough for fine strands left dense coils dry, tangled, and unmanageable.

So I started creating what didn’t exist —
